Based on all the feedback we have gotten- herbal supplements will improve your life here on earth. We are not talking about religion. Whether you are a Baptist, Lutheran, Catholic, or whatever --- everyone gets to heaven the same way---God's way.
To discover God's way, we look at what His book--the Bible says:
Romans 3:10 "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one."
Romans 3:23 " For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
If we are honest, we know these verses are true --- no matter how good we try to be, we all fall short at times. This is called sin in the Bible. You don't have to be a murderer or rapist to be a sinner -- just telling a half truth or thinking an immoral thought puts you in the category of a sinner.
OK I'M A SINNER --- SO WHAT??
Romans 6:23 " For the wages of sin is death..."
Ezekiel 18:4 "The soul that sinneth--It shall die." God is Holy and perfect--the problem is because we are not, we can not go to heaven with God. Our wages - or payment - is death. This is not just physical death, but eternally separated from God in Hell.
WOW-REALLY BAD NEWS-LET'S GET TO THE GOOD NEWS!!
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, BUT the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord."
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
God did not want anyone to go to hell, so He came up with a plan: He sent His Son Jesus to earth for the sole purpose of dying in YOUR place. He lived a sinless life, then went to the cross and shed His innocent blood for you and Me. He then rose again on the 3rd day to show His power over death.
2 Cor. 5:21 "He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him."
GREAT!! SO WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
The Blood has been shed-
The gift has been made available-
All you need to do is accept the gift and apply the blood to your sin account.
Jesus paid your sin debt, but just understanding that fact will not save you--You need to make it personal.
TELL ME HOW--I WANT HEAVEN !!!
Contrary to popular belief, NO amount of "good works" can get us one step closer to heaven.
Eph. 2: 8-9: "For by grace are you saved, through faith, and not of yourselves-it is the gift of God. Not of works, least any man should boast."
Ninety times in the gospel of John the Bible says "Believe." This is not just believing the facts. The word believe means to "trust in, rely on and adhere to" You also need to repent. Repent means "a change of mind." You change your mind about who Jesus is and what He has done for you. You now understand that Jesus is the only road to heaven. It's all about Jesus and what He did for you on the cross --- you can do nothing to save yourself.
So let's sum it up:
You need to admit to God that you are a sinner and have no hope of heaven in anything you can do yourself. You now understand that God sent His Son Jesus to die and shed His blood on the cross. This innocent death satisfied God's requirement for punishment for sin. Jesus died in your place!! You now place all your faith in what Jesus did for you. You are not trusting your church, or your baptism, or your confirmation, or how much money you give or any thing else. You by faith totally trust in and are relying only on the blood to cover your sin. You are accepting Jesus as your Saviour.
If that is something you want to do, pray to God a prayer like this: (It's NOT the prayer that saves you -- the prayer is just a good way to verbalize to God that you are now trusting only in Jesus to save you.)
"Dear Heavenly Father -- I do admit to you that I am a sinner, and I now realize there is nothing I can do to earn my salvation. Thank-you so much for sending Jesus to shed His blood and die in my place on the cross. I also understand and believe that Jesus rose the 3rd day and is now living in heaven. I accept the gift that Jesus has given to me. I now am putting my total trust and relying only on the cross for my salvation. Thank-you Jesus for Saving me!!
If you prayed that and really meant it --- You are now a part of the family of God!! You have been "born again!!" You now need to find a Bible teaching church to attend so you can have fellowship with other believers and learn more about the God that just saved you.
